Note: The Subscription Billing feature is also available via API. Actions completed via API will be reflected in the Dashboard.
Managing Subscriptions for a Merchant
On the Merchant details page, under the SUBSCRIPTION ENROLLMENTS header, you can view and delete all subscriptions the merchant is enrolled in.
Additionally, you can perform other actions such as: enroll the merchant in a new schedule or enroll a merchant in an existing schedule. To perform any of the actions, click the Manage Subscriptions button at the top right and click on the appropriate action from the drop-down.
Create a new subscription
The steps to enroll a merchant in a new schedule are similar to creating a subscription schedule.
- To enroll a merchant in a new schedule, complete the following fields to create a Subscription Schedule:

- Schedule Nickname: Nickname for the Subscription Schedule
- Type: Subscription Type. There are three available types: Fixed, Monthly or Yearly
- Interval (Hours): Hourly increments between recurring charges
- Interval Count: Number of recurring charges
- Optional field: Tags
Click the Next button.
- Create a Subscription Amount. Complete the following fields:

- Amount Nickname: Nickname for the Subscription Amount
- Amount: Subscription Amount. There is no limit on the amount
- Label (Optional): Description for the Subscription Amount
- Optional field: Tags
Click the Next button.
- Create a Subscription Enrollment. The Subscription Enrollment details when the merchant will get charged, to what schedule, and for what amount. Complete the following fields:

- Enrollment Nickname: Nickname for the Subscription Enrollment
- Start Date and Time: Select the date and time when the Subscription will start
- End Date and Time: This field is optional. If you do not enter an end date and time, the fee will run into perpetuity
- Optional field: Tags
Click the Next button.
4. Confirm the Subscription. This confirmation screen displays the subscription details including type, amount, and other information. On this screen, you can edit the Subscription and or Amount information by clicking on the Edit button to the right of the modal. To save and create a subscription, click the Submit button.
Enroll in an existing schedule
To enroll a merchant in an existing schedule:
- Find a Subscription Schedule and enter the Subscription Schedule ID in the text field. The Subscription Schedule ID starts with a SUBSCHEDULE prefix. You can find a list of Subscription Schedules on the Subscription Billing homepage.
- Confirm the Subscription Schedule and click the Next button.
- Create a Subscription Enrollment. The Subscription Enrollment details when the merchant will get charged, to what schedule, and for what amount. Complete the following fields:

- Enrollment Nickname: Nickname for the Subscription Enrollment
- Start Date and Time: Select the date and time when the Subscription will start
- End Date and Time: This field is optional. If you do not enter an end date and time, the fee will run into perpetuity
- Optional field: Tags
Click the Next button.
- Confirm the Subscription. This confirmation screen displays the subscription details including type, amount, and other information. On this screen, you can edit the Subscription and or Amount information by clicking on the Edit button to the right of the modal. To save and create a subscription, click the Submit button.
- A success message appears at the top of the screen confirming the merchant is enrolled in the subscription.
